These trails were installed in 2013 and are no longer maintained, some of the markers are missing.
Friends
of Troopers Hill have created three new marked trails for schools
and families with primary school age children. These were produced
as part of the Experiencing
Troopers Hill, Schools Project and were suggested by
teachers at our local schools.
The trails are designed to help you find out more about the
wonderful wildlife on this very special hill. There are several
ways to access these trails, depending on age and the amount of
challenge you are seeking.
More information can be found and downloaded at the Fun
Learning Trails Page of our website. We would welcome any
feedback. Information on a new tree trail will be added soon.
We are pleased to be working with environmental education
specialist, Ruth Coleman again on this project. Ruth worked with
us on the woodland waymarking part of the main Stepping Forward
Project in 2012 to create theWoodland Trail.
